Description
This is a diaper-rash cream that is designed primarily to prevent skin irritation in places with a risk of sores by acting as a barrier between the skin and the faeces. It contains emulsifier based on the natural proteins extract (protease inhibitors) from Solanum Tuberosum, which improves the barrier function of the cream and Panthenol (in a concentration of 1%), which helps to protect the skin through it’s function as an emollient and humectant.
Intended purpose
The medical device OlaCare® is intended for baby’s and infants, for prevention of skin irritation in the diaper area. By applying to the diaper areas, it forms an occlusive lipophilic surface layer on the skin that fulfils a barrier function, reduseskin irritation and friction in the affected areas.
Ingredients
Aqua, Decyl Oleate, Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Solanum Tuberosum Callus Culture Extract, Cetearyl Alcohol, Lanolin, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Glyceryl Stearate, Panthenol, Parfum, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Hydrogenated Rapeseed Oil, Hydroxyacetophenone, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-11, Xanthan Gum, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Tocopherol, Hydrogenated Vegetable Glycerides Citrate.
Indication
The cream is intended for daily diaper care to prevent diaper rash. Apply only to areas where there is a risk of diaper rash.
Contraindication
The cream is not intended for the treatment of injured skin.
Interaction
Undesirable interactions are not yet known for any component of the composition.
Side effects
The cream is tested to be hypoallergenic. Yet, in exceptional cases, the cream may cause an allergic skin reaction.
Use and method of application
After thoroughly cleansing the skin in and around the diaper area, apply a thin layer of cream each time you change the diaper. Pay special attention to the folds of the skin. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
Packaging
Tube contains 40 g of cream. The sample sachet contains 5 g of cream.
Notice
Do not use if the package has been opened, damaged or heavily soiled.
Carefully close the tube after each use to prevent contaminating the cream.
Store in a dry place below 30 °C.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation continues, seek medical attention.
Keep out of reach of children.
Warning
Do not use the cream after the expiry date which is stated on the carton.
